Rabbi Elias helped launch "The Dovi Steinmetz Ani Maamin Initiative", which is a global project born in commemoration of Dovi Steinmetz, a 21 year old who perished in the tragic events at Meron on Lag B'Omer. As part of this initiative, Rabbi Elias delivered a series of shiurim explaining and illustrating the importance and relevance the Rambam's 13 basic principles of Emunah, subsequently being published in book form as "Ani Maamin - A Mission for Life".
