Rabbi Avrohom and Rebbetzin Tobi Bleich
Rabbi Avrohom Bleich is the Rabbi of Congregation B’nai Yisroel – Bais Yehuda in Oak Park, MI. A native of New York, Rabbi Bleich and his family spent 23 years in Modiin Ilit, Israel, where he founded and led a yeshiva, before returning to the United States to take on the Rabbinate in Oak Park. Rabbi Bleich learned in Yeshiva Karlin Stolin in New York and is a close Talmid of Horav Yitzchok Soloveitchik shlit”a of Yerushalayim. He received semicha from the Stoliner Rosh Yeshiva Harav Wolpin Z”L, Harav Simcha Kook Z”L, the Debretziner Rov Shlita, and others. Rabbi Bleich serves as a Rabbinical Advisor of the Fresh Start Trauma Center in Detroit and as a Rabbinic Ambassador of the Coalition for Jewish Values. Over the past decades, he has counseled, taught, lectured and written on a wide range of Torah topics.
Rebbetzin Tobi Bleich was raised in Brooklyn, NY. She attended Bais Yaakov of Boro Park, and Seminar Yerushalayim in Israel. In addition to being a busy mother and grandmother, and her position as congregational Rebbetzin, Tobi also works for the JARC organization, which is dedicated to helping Jewish adults with special needs.
RABBI Moshe Binyamin Derhy grew up in Washington Heights, New York. He graduated from Yeshiva Rabbi Shamshon Raphael Hirsch, and then went on to learn in Passaic under Rabbi Meir Stern, shlit”a, and in Yeshivas Brisk, Yerushalayim. When he returned to the US, he married Naomi Shamie of LA and joined the Kollel of Beth Medrash Gevoha; during his 12 years there, Rabbi Derhy obtained semicha. Rabbi Derhy also works for BMG’s Machon Mishnas Rabbi Aharon, where he works to publish seforim, and he mentors bochurim in local yeshivos. In 2023 the Philadelphia Community Kollel welcomed Rabbi Derhy as its Second Seder Rosh Chabura, a position he continues to fill with exceptional scholarship and devotion.
